About Me
Hi, I’m Jennifer!
Artist + Educator.
I’m a DFW native and a lifelong artist. Growing up you could always find me carrying around one of the following: a pencil and my sketchbook or a book. I’ve always enjoyed the act of creating and exploring new places. I love that art can be a way of connecting with others.
With a focus on color and the natural world, I create paintings that are best described as “illustrative realism.” Plants, animals, and occasionally people are depicted against an ombre or natural background.
I’m inspired by the wonder I find in nature and daily life. So, my artwork serves to communicate that wonder and explore what it means to be human in relation to nature and our Creator.
I want anyone who views my work to experience the same joy and wonder I do when I take in the beauty of God’s creation.
When not painting, you can find me reading, doing Zumba, hiking, or spending time with family & friends.
